A
bit of history about me...
I am married to my best friend Dave for 25
years and have four awesome kids and 4
grandchildren! Working full-time,
keeping house, grocery shopping, doing
laundry and kid shuttling with doctor and
dental appointments (the list could go on
and on), I didn't feel I had the time to
create products or design websites.
It's unfortunate for my family that I didn't
have these recordings ready when they were
having their surgeries and needed them the
most.
But now, my
kids are all grown up, my full-time job has
ended and I don't let a little dust bother
me, at least not as much as it used to.
I now take time to be more involved with my
community, my family and my friends and I
enjoy being creative and helping others. It
wasn't until my sister Anna broke her leg
that I began to design these recordings.
She has been my inspiration and greatest
supporter! "Thanks Sis!"

A little "surgical"
family history:
My husband
Dave, has had more than 20 surgeries in his
lifetime! Can you believe that!
(And no... I am not exaggerating!) You would
think that he would be a "prepare for
surgery" pro by now and to some
degree... he is!
Dave has a
nasty (and persistent) case of osteomyelitis
in his right leg and since the young age of
16, he has undergone multiple surgeries and
hospital stays. Needless to say that
even though he is a "pro" so to speak ~ in
the art of having surgery, he still would
get nervous and anxious every time before
going under the knife!

When my
mother Bettie had knee replacement surgery
(both knees) ~ I remember how worried I was
about her. She was anxious (and
understandably so) and needed something to
help her relax and to feel more like she was
in control of her situation. I found some
products on the market but none that would
give her the total support she needed to
reduce her anxiety and offer her a
step-by-step set of instructions. She
needed to know, in layman's terms, how to
better prepare for her medical procedure but
she really didn't have anywhere to turn.

My sister
Anna has also had to have multiple surgeries
due to a genetic anomaly within the family
but it was the time when she had emergency
surgery due to a bad fall that I really
worried about her and her wellbeing.
The fall had broken her right femur into a
spiral twisted mess. She underwent
emergency surgery to pin back together her
femur and then she began the long road to
healing and recovery.

These are
just a few examples of the surgeries my
family (and friends) have had throughout the
years. Hopefully they have seen the
last of having surgeries but just in case
they haven't - they now have "Less
Stressful Surgery"
- Healing Audio Series to help them
through - and so do you! I don't want anyone
to go through the anxiety and stress that my
family has been through with each and every
surgery.
Just
thinking back now about what they were
hearing during surgery makes me want to
grimace. With most surgeries you have
the sawing and cracking of bones, especially
with the types of surgeries that my family
has endured. With all of these noises
and all of the non-stop medical staff's
conversations... I would venture to say that
the operating room doesn't set the stage for
a tranquil, peaceful healing environment.
My family
is doing just fine now but still...I wish
these recordings would have been available
to them when they had their surgeries.
They would have loved receiving a "get well"
gift like this! A gift that would help
them get through their surgeries with as
little stress as possible and the tools and
encouragement to heal quicker. To that end,
I hope you will find these audio recordings
beneficial. It is my hope that you
experience less stress, more peace and rapid
healing ~ before, during and after your
surgery!
I would
also love to have your feedback on my
recordings and guide. By offering your
feedback and suggestions you can help others prepare for surgery and
heal. So please, go to my
Contact page and offer your
feedback.
Thank you for visiting, thank you for your
feedback and I wish you less stress, less
pain and and a quick recovery after your
surgery.
Blessings
to you with Big Hugs and Gentle Healing
